My husband and I worked with Kayla for our wedding and engagement photos. Photography was the vendor that I really wanted to prioritize for our wedding, because I really wanted to trust that our special day was going to be captured beautifully. From the moment we came across Kayla's portfolios online, my husband and I knew she was who we wanted. Kayla seemed to be able to capture every emotion with her camera, and that's just what we were looking for. I had talked to Kayla over the phone, but our engagement photos were the first time meeting her in person. My husband and I had never gotten professional photos taken, so we were nervous we were going to feel awkward. Kayla made us feel so comfortable within the first couple of minutes and we had an absolute blast for the entire session. And that emotion continued when we got our photos, which made us even more excited for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding Kayla created a timeline for our wedding day, as well as helped organize what photos we wanted and who we wanted in our photos. On the day of the wedding, I was anxious, excited and nervous, as any bride is. Kayla made sure we were on schedule, but I never once felt rushed or overwhelmed. I had the utmost confidence in her the entire day, and never had one worry that we were going to miss a part of the wedding or we were forgetting a certain shot. And once she sent us our wedding gallery, all of the emotions we had that day returned as we once again got to relive the day through our pictures. Kayla was everything and more than we could have imagined when thinking about what we wanted with our wedding photographer. Having such an amazing experience with her for our wedding makes me so excited to think about her capturing future life events. I cannot recommend Kayla Havens Photography enough.
